Gave away a penalty when Hazard made sure his leg made contact with Koscielny’s knee. Was poor in the build-up to the second goal.

Attacked well down the left and got back to defend most of the time.
Mathieu Flamini – 8
The Frenchman’s best performance this season. Dominant in midfield and good on the ball.
Jack Wilshere – 8 – Man of the Match (Replaced by Rosicky in the 83rd minute)
Another great performance from Wilshere. Made a lot of good runs and rarely gave away the ball.
Santi Cazorla – 8 (Replaced by Chamberlain in the 69th minute)
Played well in central midfield. His passing was crisp and he created a few chances.
Mesut Özil – 4
Passing was neat and tidy, but he got shoved off the ball far too often, and couldn’t create anything all game.
Alexis Sanchez – 7 (Replaced by Podolski in the 79th minute)
Great work rate and commitment, but the Chilean couldn’t create any meaningful chances. Dribbling and ball control was very good.

Had come nice touches but failed to have a single shot all game. Couldn’t turn himself to face goal.
